CHILD CARE PROGRAMS

We believe we can build healthy spirit, mind and body for all by putting Christian principles into practice through our various programs. Because of the Y community, kids in neighborhoods around the nation are taking more interest in learning and making better life choices. All Children deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. The children who participate in our youth development programs learn that character shapes responsible decisions. They also learn the value of social responsibility, the gift of giving back, good sportsmanship and most importantly, they learn to be secure in themselves. Millions of today’s youth are cultivating these values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

** Program assistance is available to members on camp and after school if needed, please inquire at the front desk.

Summer Break Day Camp

Join us for the BEST SUMMER EVER at the Switzerland County YMCA Summer Day Camp. Summer camp will offer your camper with a traditional camp experience. This summer we are offering the youth of our community the best summer ever through enriching and learning experiences to help kids get more out of their summer break- more learning, more exploration and more achievement. To help grow the youth of our communities we have created a summer filled with swimming, field trips, arts & crafts, sport enhancement, fitness, healthy lifestyles, friendships and fun. Y Summer Camps offer a safe, fun and educational environment for children while giving parents peace of mind. At camp, kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, create memories and make lasting friendships. Our focus is to give our youth the opportunity to accomplish things, make friends and feel like they belong to help gain confidence, and to feel more connected and supported. Each week at camp will follow a different weekly theme with activities specific to the theme to help campers learn, grow and thrive. Our goal is to ensure that our day campers go home with so much excitement that they can't wait to come back the next day, even all summer!
